I had a great weekend at Shocktober! Oh my goodness ... I don't even know where to start. I had another awesome weekend with Steffie and Rae and Tanya and PC. Great food, a really cool atmosphere, good people ... it was all good. We had the most awesome costumes too. Collectively we were the crew of the Queen Fairy. Not familiar with them? Check out the song by the group Jolly Rogers and you'll understand. I was Fanny, Steffie was Charlotte, Tanya was Lucy, and Porkchop was the cabin boy. It was so much fun, and we were all hot in our costumes. I may be biased, I'll admit ... but we were hot!

Rae has a new toy that I want, and I got to see it at the party. Mmmm, yes... I wants! And we never got a pic of her wearing it with her pirate garb! Must be remedied.

I was even wired for sound. Porkchops and the Riblettes had possession of the remote. *Note to self and anyone else using a remote control toy ... the bathroom is not a good place for someone to suddenly hit the on switch!*

My scene with Steffie was ... mmm...yeah... it was good. It was cold or it probably would have been a bit longer. And yes, I must thank Rae too for her unbelieveable remote timing for part of that too. I puddled quickly ... way more quickly than I'd have ever imagined. I needed that. Thank you thank you thank you. Steffie gave me the most beautiful silver and amethyst heart pendant and chain after. It's just lovely. Thank you so much Steffie. It's a wonderful reminder.

Saturday was followed by a really good Sunday. Did I mention that I have awesome friends? Rae and Tanya made a late breakfast for us. Yummy bacon, homemade waffles (love waffles!) with fresh fruit topping, syrup, and whip cream, and coffee and juice.... oh it was sooooo good. Then we had nachos with all the toppings for a snack later in the day as we watched movies.

*pouts* Then Steffie had to go home. That was sad. I'm so spoiled having her here the past three weekends. But I know she has work that she has to be back home for. Til next weekend when I visit. :-D
